Everything needed to show Shamgar Digital correctly. Download what you need; please don’t redraw, recolour or stretch the mark.

The mark

The capital S of Cormorant Garamond, with an oxgoad passing under it: the tool Shamgar used to deliver Israel (Judges 3:31). The goad is always brass; the S is parchment on dark grounds and ink on light ones.

With the name

The mark beside the name, as it appears at the top of this site. The files have the letters drawn as shapes, so they look right without the fonts installed.

Colour

Ink & Brass. Deep ink and midnight carry most of the page; brass is used sparingly, for the goad and for emphasis.

Both are free, open-licence typefaces from Google Fonts.

Headlines and the nameSharp AaCormorant Garamond

SemiBold (600), with the italic for emphasis. Used large: headlines, the wordmark, quotations.

Regular (400) for reading, Medium and SemiBold for labels and buttons. Small capitals labels are tracked wide.

Using the mark

  • Leave space around it. At least half the mark’s width on every side.
  • Keep it legible. Not smaller than 20 px tall on screen; use the app icon below that.
  • Keep the colours. Brass goad, with a parchment or ink S. On photographs, place it on a plain panel.
  • Don’t alter it. No stretching, rotating, outlines, shadows or redrawing the S in another typeface.
