Privacy policy

Last updated November 7, 2026.

This policy is a draft and may change before it is final.

This policy explains what information Shamgar Digital LLC (“we”, “us”) collects on shamgardigital.com, why, and what you can do about it. We’re a small company organized in Texas, United States, and we collect as little as we can.

Each of our projects has its own site and its own privacy policy, which covers what happens there:

What we collect

When you use the contact form

We receive the name, email address, topic and message you enter, and the address of the page you sent it from. The form sends them to us by email, and we use them only to read and answer your message. We don’t add you to any mailing list. We keep messages only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than two years.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and device to do this; it doesn’t set advertising cookies or track you across sites. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.

Visits to the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies or build a profile of you; it gives us only totals, such as how many people viewed a page.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t set cookies on this site.
  • We don’t show advertising, and we don’t use advertising or social-media trackers.
  • We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone, or share it for advertising.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, security, spam protection, analytics and sending contact-form email) and our email provider, which stores the messages we receive. They handle information only on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, use the contact form. We’ll answer within 30 days.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll also post a note on the updates page.
